Meet the Team
Louise Wright is the Owner and Teacher of Louise Wright Dance
Miss Louise began her dance journey at the age of three at the Tracy Quaife Theatre School in Nottingham. Progressing through all her grades following the IDTA syllabus, she then continued onto her teaching qualifications and has obtained associates in Ballet, Tap and Modern. This enabled her to become a teacher at TQTS for over 11 years, teaching with students from 3 years all the way up to young adults.
Louise also carried her love of dance into her academic school learning, achieving A levels in Dance, Performing Arts and Drama at Bilborough College.
After college, Louise continued on to a professional vocational academy – Expressions Performing Arts. On completing the three year course, she received a Trinity Guild Diploma in Performing Arts. Being on this course allowed her to be trained by many professional level performers and choreographers and reinforced her love for dance.
Over the years, Louise has performed in many shows at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham Playhouse, Sadler’s Wells, Nottingham Capital Arena and Her Majesty’s Theatre London to name a few.
In 2021, Louise continued her learning and became an Acrobatic Arts Certified Teacher. This qualification allows for the safe teaching of acrobatic skills which she plans to offer teaching for in the future.
After so many years of training and teaching, Louise has decided it is time to start her own classes in Stapleford! With the belief that learning dance should be a enjoyable experience, she takes a fun approach to teaching and allows children to progress at a pace which they are comfortable with.
